Some years ago I began teaching a class online. I was reticent to do so. I thought it could be a disaster. I didn’t want to charge people money for a disaster!
I remember clicking the zoom meeting link to begin class with great anxiety.
Teaching online was going to be awful! I just knew it!
Oh my surprise when something better than I’d ever experienced teaching in person transpired. It opened up a whole new way of connecting, gathering, creating vital bright flavourful and meaningful community with purpose. Good work was done in those classes and continues to this day.
I have a 3 week series beginning on tuesday I wanted to let you know about because if you want to dip your toe into trying out this experience here’s the invitation:

In other news of the corner of my world that is gratefully green and monkey filled there is book writing happening. It is a slow process. Can you imagine when I began 10 years ago to write I thought I’d pop out a book in 3 months?
I am better practiced now at the craft of writing.
And I’m grateful for the way words spill out and help make sense of my life and my feelings.
Writing is beautiful and worthy of slow simple word by word love and attention.
I hope you have something you can wrap your hands around and craft - a garden, a knitted scarf, a poem to be written?
I’ll be gathering this year and next with others who have projects that need time and attention in wild peace. I’m opening my home, Apothefinca, to people with projects - art, writing, business ventures. I live in a place where the green leaves speak stories and the roots call one home to the earth and oneself. You can find out more about that here: Staying at Apothefinca
Wishing you well and sending you love,
Lucy
