My garden blossomed its first dragon flower - soon to be a fruit; the citrus tree by my kitchen window burst into sweet white flowers that filled my home with the aroma of orange blossom; last night I met a large tarantula on the couch beside my dog; a boa ate my favorite chicken; the turkey is broody again but has no mate so I put chicken eggs under her; outdoor aerial trapeze classes have begun which I’ve been wanting to do for ages…. I love this kind of exercise. Every day the land brings adventures, flowers, herbs to be cut, and insects to navigate. Life on a small jungle farm is never ever boring.
In writing I’ve been working on a short story … It’s called ‘Silver Linings’ - a little piece of fiction I’m entering into a competition. I’m also working on a marketing package to get my jungle life stories out to agents. Wish me creative inspiration:) I have been stuck a few times at this stage and procrastinated my way to other projects.
In November I’m hosting two weeks of retreats. One week has some availability if you’re looking for an active healing holiday please be in touch. My retreats are quite unique. They are 4 - 6 people max retreats so I can attend to each person. If you join me in November you’ll learn to surf:)
With love from these wild lands I live in,
Lucy
